Katarzyna Estate has consolidated her position in the global markets

The seven awarded Katarzyna Estate wines will be presented at the Open Wine tasting area of Mundus Vini within the largest wine show in Dusseldorf - ProWein 2019. ProWein is the largest and most visited trade forum in Europe.

The “Best of Show Bulgarian wine” trophy and 6 gold medals won Katarzyna Estate with its wonderful wines on one of the three most prestigious wine competitions - Mundus Vini Spring Tasting 2019. Gold awards received - Encore Malbec 2016, Encore Syrah 2017, Encore Syrah 1, 5 l 2016, Question Mark Gold 2015, Question Mark Gold 2016, Reserve 2015, which also received an award for the best Bulgarian wine and a silver medal for Chopin Ballade 2013. The gold medals are a record for the winery, because of the fact that from 13 gold medals for Bulgaria, 6 are given to Katarzyna Estate.

Mundus Vini is one of the three most important world wine competitions. During its 24-th edition, 12,000 wines from around the world participated in it. The jury of the competition was made up of around 200 wine experts - oenologists, winemakers, professional wine traders, sommeliers, journalists with high expertise in wine tasting. Wines were arranged in a tasting according to their product category, origin, quality level and flavour, and evaluated in accordance with the international 100-point scheme of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV), also recognised by the Union Internationale des Oenologues (UIOE).
